Also the yellow walls and red carpet go so well with mint, pink and blue headboard and wallpaper. Lovely color combinations.

Sherlock’s investigative report: This is the master-bedroom in a late 1980’s or early 1990’s three bedroom, 1 3/4 bath home. The room is very small, requiring the use of a bookcase headboard for the clock, tissue, a few books and a piece of southwestern-style pottery.

The bed indentation suggests a platform bed (perhaps with drawers for extra storage). The bed had a mauve and pink quilt with matching shams. Overall, a small but clean home that can be redecorated fashionably with new paint, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, inspirational quotes on the walls and tastefully knotted curtains.

The tract homes of the mid to late 80’s finally were offering some 2,000 sq ft homes which was the largest model for most builders at the time. The split level homes seemed to be the largest ones earlier besides custom homes.
