    Absolutely no maintenance since it was built,I’d guess, and then probably negligent owner/renter on top of that.Pretty sad.It was probably a cute house when it was first built.

    As much as wood paneling is despised, there is one benefit for having solid wood paneling on walls and ceilings: it makes a great sound enhancer if you like playing super loud music! I live in a home built in 1953 that has a family room paneled in solid, thin cut mahogany and it makes my bass guitar and sound system sound super awesome. The wood paneling acts as a giant soundboard making the entire room vibrate and the old windows rattle like a snake! Alas, my neighbors aren’t too pleased though. LOL!
