Please Define What “Newer” Means

This photo’s caption reads, “Newer built-in micro(wave) and plenty of counter space.” The house was built in 1989 and that sure looks like the original microwave & oven. So….28 years old = newer?

” Newer ” is the opposite of ” Older “.

Yep, lots of knobs on that thing.

Description should read, “Wow! Great retro microwave with vintage-look knobs!” (I think I would like it!)

Stoves and microwaves don’t really need to be updated often as long as they are working well.

This one looks fairly high-end for its day, very clean, and fully functional. It wouldn’t bother me one bit.

That’s not even a microwave. It’s a stove with double ovens — all the rage in the early 70s. Had one myself back in the day.
