Psychedelic Kitchen

Groovy kitchen from a very imaginative seller.

Bonus points for creativity.

Pink dolphins. Who knew?

The likelihood is that the new owner will tear down the kitchen and artwork plus the archway and outdated Saltillo tile floors.

When I bought my house nearly 22 years ago, there were interesting drawings inside my kitchen cabinets. A beautiful smiling sun still remains behind my microwave. I have stenciled pigs in my pantry. And this is what is under my kitchen sink. (the hole on the right is abandoned galvanized piping in my 1960 home; replumbed with copper)

It’s not my style art, the artist has talent though. Houses near us are mostly custom homes, in our yard there’s a small slab poured by the gate with a little handprint, a name and 1988 date, so cute.

It’s not the worst thing in the world. I’d probably live with it for a while.

Did anyone else suddenly and inexplicably hear “Inn-A-Gadda-Davida” while looking at that kitchen????
