Foreclosed home in Chandler, Arizona. The exact details are unknown. Tax records indicate that the home was owner-occupied, but it could have been a rental. The people were the original owners since the house was built in 2002. The bank took it back in February 2009. As is often the case, the bank usually does not provide money to clean up a home before putting it on the market. You’d think a few hundred dollars and a clean home would bring them a few thousand more dollars and excite more buyers.
The previous occupants left behind a lot of personal items. There are a few possibilities why:
They were either the owners or renters who:
1) Were slobs and just didn’t care
2) Couldn’t afford packing boxes or movers
3) Were evicted when the home was foreclosed and had to leave very quickly
No judgments are made here. It is what it is. Let’s take a look.
A kid’s bedroom.
Another bedroom.
The master bathroom. They left behind towels, toothpaste, soap, a brush. What happened that they left it all behind?
The master bedroom closet, filled with clothes, shoes, & a purse. Again, what happened?
Hall closet.
Cluttered family room.
Linen closet.
