Walk-In Tub

September 9th, 2017 · No Comments

Walk-in tubs are advertised with the elderly in mind. Easy to enter and exit. Safer. But what about the reality of using one? You can’t fill the tub until the door is closed and you can’t open the door when the tub is filling or filled. Therefore, you must enter the tub when it is empty. Do you disrobe before entering or after? Then you are left naked (and possibly cold) while the tub fills up. By then, you’re probably bored. After bathing, you must wait naked while the tub drains. Shiver, shiver.

In this bathroom, where do you put your clothes or robe or the towel? No towel bars or hooks nearby.

The seat/bench has a scoop in it so you can use the hand-held shower to clean your undercarriage while sitting.

Let’s Do the Twist

September 6th, 2017 · 2 Comments

At least they’re not knotted. There was a time when cabana curtains were very popular in the Phoenix area, to give a resort feel to a back patio. However, the reality was that it’s very dusty and sunny in Phoenix. The curtains got dirty, they stained easily, and the color faded unevenly.

Kitchens Gone Wrong

August 30th, 2017 · 1 Comment

Messy kitchen with damaged plumbing.

Half of a window is better than no window. At least the curtain wasn’t knotted.

Let’s clear off the counter tops and refrigerator.

Did a poltergeist open the doors and drawers?

Organized chaos tells buyers this kitchen is too small. Check out the ceiling stain too.
