    I often see these vintage ovens at estate sales, and wonder how many of them will survive the inevitable remodeling, along with other retro decor.

    I know someone who has one of those midcentury wall ovens in their renovated kitchen, and the reason it is there is because it still works great!

    My grandparents had Copper Tone Magic Chef appliances in their home at the Jersey shore, that was built in 1960. We had to tear the home down after Super Storm Sandy. Standing on the beach watching the machinery tear the house apart and the Magic Chef oven fall from the second floor, was sad.

    We had the bottom oven when I was growing up. It was old in the 80’s! (worked great though)
