Thank You For Your Support

UglyHousePhotos celebrated its 10th anniversary in late November. Since then, this blog has had the Asian flu, literally. Hackers from China are trying to use this blog’s resources (probably to mine BitCoin) and we’re having a hard time kicking them out. We re-loaded the site which helped a lot, but still not in the clear. This blog has never asked you to log-in or register or download anything, so do not do so if any message pops up. This blog rarely has had links to other websites, so do not do so if any links outside of this blog are offered.

We are at a crossroads. We could change the look of the site (a new theme) (a lot of time), change the platform ($$$ & a lot of time), change the website ($$$ & a lot of time), or retire altogether.

We do appreciate your support.

Admittedly, I have been concerned, Leif. I even sent you a private email but it failed in delivery. I am happy that you are all right.

Please don’t retire. Out of the millions of websites out there, yours is one of the few I keep bookmarked on my header for quick access.

If necessary, I will happily donate $$$ to help you establish a new platform/site. I’d bet that there are plenty of others who would do so as well.

    Your friend, FelixtheCat

Whatever you do, don’t retire! Your blog is one of the few simple pleasures left in life!

What a shame if you have to stop producing this blog. It makes people laugh in a time when so much in the world is doom and gloom. I hope you find a way to keep on going and bring smiles to all your faithful readers around the globe. Good luck, Leif.

I would be sad to see your site go, but I would understand. Everything ends at some point.
