Creative shower curtains make a statement in any bathroom.
Hungry like the wolf?
How the West was won.
Horsing around. Show this to your neigh-bors.
The dying tree.
These curtains soak up all of the shower water. Very practical.
Keeping the shower curtain closed for the real estate photo makes the bathroom look smaller. And a loud pattern then dominates the room.

The camouflage is so realistic, you can’t even see the wall. Where did it go?
Minnesota Vikings inspired design. If only the orange paint was made from crushed Cheetos!
Not sure what the theme was for this room.

Knotted curtains continue to show up in Phoenix area homes.
When will people stop knotting their curtains?
Can we set up counseling for people compelled to knot their drapes?
Enact legislation to outlaw knotted curtains?
Boycott homes with knotted curtains?
I’d rather see pouf valances return than see knotted curtains.
At least these drapes weren’t knotted. Only tied with string and twisted.

Less is much more.

Lawnmower + tall grass = the sellers would rather swing instead.

Here’s a pseudo-beehive fireplace. That’s wallpaper, not faux painting; the pattern repeats.
Two fireplaces in this house. Check out the free-standing metal one on the left.
Yesterday we featured entertainment/media niches. Today we have a fireplace plus a media niche. Double the fun!
You can see the electric outlets in the cubby holes. The fireplace is probably fake. If not, would you want the fire’s heat rising up on the TV?

In case buyers didn’t notice the big stain, the seller provided a second photo showing more stains.
Buyers have to walk past the oil stain to get to the front door. Would it make sense to remove the stain before selling the house?
This photo tells buyers that the sellers have too much stuff in their garage, causing them to park outside. And it tells them the sellers don’t take care of their cars. Do they take care of their house the same way?
First impressions at the curb. Not a good start.

Please join me in singing the 6th annual UglyHousePhotos version of the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” Everybody join in now. A one, and a two, and a three.
On the Twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…
Twelve clocks a tickin’.
Eleven medals hanging.
Ten puppies sitting.
Nine ducks a quacking.
Eight princesses dancing.
Seven jugs of water.
Six chairs aplenty.
Five blobs of paint.
Four raggedy dolls.
Three brass geese.
Two turtle doves?
And an old tire by a sparse tree.
