    The first picture assults the senses. It kinda makes my eyes cross to look at it because it’s so busy.

    Talk about taking coordinating to the extreme. I call that look “country camouflage”. That used to be all the rage 30-40 years ago. People would order the coordinated whole-room “look” right out of the Sears Catalogue. It’s a shame, in that people who decorated this way really did want to be stylish, but they just lacked the courage to fly solo and be original.

    I’ve seen worse…. (matching drapes and couch and wallpaper and carpet color or matching carpet and velour wheelie chairs)

    This was popular in the 80s. People who bought and fixed up Victorian houses decorated them this way. It’s not nearly as bad as anything from the 70s. I used to have a dress with the print in the second pic.
