Romantic Spa

Looks like a romantic setting for a hot tub.  No windows.  It also looks like a breeding ground for mildew and mold and bacteria.

Umm…not to code? That is a depressing and unpleasant space :-(

When, oh when, will people learn that closing in a patio is NOT a good idea? But, if you are going to go ahead and close it in, finish it!!! And at least use green board or some other water resistant wall board. Leif, looks like it has a window. Shows on the lower right side of the picture. Still not enough circulation for a hot tub room.

That hot tub looks like it has termites and is going to fall apart any minute. LOL

Are you sure this isn’t a water bed?

Can you imagine meeting someone and they say “ya wanna go to my place, I have a hot tub?” And then they show you that horrific room, I bet I’d break the sound barrier gettin’ outa there.

From the amount of dust it doesn’t look like it’s been used in awhile. I’d be afraid to open it.

If you enclose a patio, deck or balcony, aluminum is the best way to go. Most durable material. That treated lumber has arsenic .
