My Michigan basement/cellar isn’t even as bad as these. I just can’t store anything I plan on keeping down there, learned that the hard way.

I have seen those “naked” basement toilets quite a few times, and wondered what was going on. Why would you install the fixture without a partition, or if one was there, why remove it?

My kids had a free standing toilet in their old farmhouse. They built a little “room” around it out of beadboard and painted a crescent moon on it to look like an outhouse. Cute as can be!
