Smoker’s paradise in Madison, Wisconsin. How lung did they smoke in this house? Decades?
Couldn’t be fire smoke damage; everything else seems clean(er) and no water drips.
Imagine how the house smells. Cough, cough.

In Wisconsin, that soot could also be from burning wood or coal to heat the house.
