I stopped going to garage sales a few years ago. Where do you put the items? And is it worth having to dust them? People love to collect items and put them on display.

Eagles and fake cats plus a real cat!

More eagles and stuff.

A collection of animal heads in a Payson, Arizona home.

Neatly lined up in Scottsdale, Arizona.

I kind of like the usage of the 2 bookcases in pic # 3 (but without the eagles!). Clever use of that corner. If they put a small armchair there, it could make a tiny reading nook.
The aninaml heads pic is not too bad; at least it’s not cluttered and dusty. Maybe the owner makes and paints them? Not my thing, but pretty well displayed.

Apart from the dusting and clutter, the problem with collecting is that birthdays and Christmas are never personal. “Let’s just stop at the Dollar Store and see if we can find Aunt Jane another elephant, Buddha or duck for her collection.”
(The items in #4 are not from the Dollar Store!)

I’m digging the bookshelves in # 3 also ….. and even though there is a lot of stuff in these pictures, they are all clean.

Picture 1 is so neat and clean and will forgive them the collecting.

Okay I’ll ask, is that a roll of toilet paper on the back of the couch in photo 1? I mean really, even if the owner didn’t care the real estate agent should have said “get that out of the picture please.”
