They reused the same cabinets, but reconfigured them? I wonder if the savings was worth the work to disassemble them carefully and clean them adequately.

It seems like the fridge door in the new remodel would bump the wall all the time when opened. Otherwise it looks nice.

All these remodels look the same. It’s boring.
And the placement of the refrigerator is awkward to say the least.

I’d like wallpaper and darker stained cabinetry anyday, but I’m just so afraid that’s not happening. If you know of a homebuilder who knows how to style homes from the 1970s and before, you go ahead and comment right back, please?

I love dark, cherry stained wood cabinetry and black appliances. I really do not like the latest style with white laminate cabinets and white appliances. White cabinets are inferior in quality to real wood ones. Mid century homes in Eastern Canada all had cheap, tacky plywood cabinets with white alkyd paint. Made my skin crawl.
