Carpet Baggers

November 21st, 2017 · 2 Comments

Time to bag this carpet and get new.

Note to sellers: when the carpet is torn, that is your last call to replace the carpet.

If you are going to keep the ugly carpet, at least stretch it and cut the ends.

At least these sellers were considerate enough to keep their infant away from the filthy carpet.

First thing you see when entering this Houston, Texas home is stained, dirty carpet. [Note: this photo has been kept on file since March 2017; it is not post-hurricane]

There are maybe nice wooden steps under that filthy green carpet in the first picture.

I tore up the awful white rugs in my house after we bought it and discovered wood floors.

My house came with the same ugly green carpeting. The previous owners liked to golf, so I assume they put in the short green carpet to us for putting on. I’m currently ripping it all out. The ugly green carpet let me get the house $20k under list price, it’ll cost me $2k to put in hardwood floors.
