The future of Marvel’s Avengers is looking ‘grim,’ according to a prominent member and leaker in the game’s community named Miller. His leaks on the game’s DLC, updates, and skins have gained him a large following and has had his stories cited by IGN, Eurogamer, and Forbes. On a podcast, Miller not only shares his doubts on the game surviving over the next two years, but believes that the long-rumored She-Hulk hasn’t been forgotten and will eventually arrive in Marvel’s Avengers.
She-Hulk will arrive after she’s given the proper amount of resources for it
In a lengthy discussion on The Lunch Table Podcast, Miller gives a sobering answer to a question on whether Marvel’s Avengers will see an influx of new players:
I got to tell you, I’m not sure we ever will… There’s only so much that I can say, I’ve had conversations in the last few weeks that paint a rather grim picture of the future…
I was on record a few months ago saying I don’t think we’re going to make it to the 4.0 update series. I really don’t see it. I mean, that’s over a year away. We still have the whole 3.0 update series to get through.
As for She-Hulk, Miller says that she was meant to be released after Black Panther in the War for Wakanda update in August 2024. Voice actress Krizia Bajos had apparently already had multiple voice lines recorded for the character, but potentially due to staffing changes, she was likely delayed in favor of an improved multiplayer experience and the release of Jane Foster. He believes that once Embracer Group is able to give the team both the budget and the manpower necessary to what Miller calls a fully original character like She-Hulk, she will finally be able to join the roster.
In the meantime, the game’s lead designer was recently dropped as the studio spokesman after several controversial tweets, and The Winter Soldier is slated to arrive soon.
