Marvel’s Wolverine will not get a release date in 2024 according to the latest trailer from PlayStation that showcases upcoming PS5 and PS4 games for this year. This is despite earlier rumors that the game would have a 2024 release date window because Microsoft had included the estimate in a report.
Is there a confirmed Marvel’s Wolverine release date?
Marvel’s Wolverine does not have a confirmed release date and it seems like the earliest the game may be released is in 2024 seeing as the game was omitted from a new PlayStation trailer showing off several PS5 and PS4 games expected to be released in 2024. These included Horizon: Call of the Wild, Firewall Ultra, Forspoken, Street Fighter 6, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
The trailer seems to debunk rumors that started late last year when Microsoft declared they expected the game to be released in 2024. This was released in a statement as part of their ongoing arguments to complete their acquisition of Activision. At the time it seemed unlikely the game would be released in the same year as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from the same studio, and Sony has now seemingly confirmed that the studio will be focusing on pushing one game out the door at a time.
