Following the announcement of the long-rumored Annapurna-published Silent Hill: Townfall, developer No Code asked fans to watch the reveal trailer again to “see what you might have missed.” One Reddit user answered the call by extracting the entire trailer audio and converting it to an MP3 to view its spectrogram. Lo and behold, the audio contained a hidden message. It’s unclear if this is the secret No Code was referring to and/or if it’s the only secret. For now, fans are trying to figure out what it all means.
Silent Hill: Townfall trailer’s hidden message
“Whatever heart this town had has now stopped,” reads the spectogram found by Redditor MilkManEX and verified by IGN. There was also a morse code in the trailer, which turned out to be an SOS message. However, the morse code was sitting in plain sight so it’s unlikely that’s the “secret” No Code was teasing.
The spectrogram message could simply be a part of Silent Hill: Townfall’s synopsis. Whatever it is and whether there are more secrets in the trailer or not, we’ll find out soon enough.
We barely know anything about Silent Hill: Townfall including what platforms it’s in development for. We’ll update our readers when we have more information.
