PSVR 2 pre-orders are now available from PlayStation Direct without needing to wait for an invite. While players initially had to register for an exclusive invite to pre-order the device, the final batch of invites has gone out and players can pre-order PSVR 2 for delivery on or very shortly after release day.
Where to place PSVR 2 pre-orders without an invite
Players in the US, UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg can now pre-order a PSVR 2 bundle with or without Horizon Call of the Mountain from PlayStation Direct. The Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle is available for $599.99, while the PSVR 2 bundle without the game is $549.99. A PlayStation VR2 Sense Controller Charging Station is also available for $49.99.
While players needed to register to receive an invite when pre-orders went live on November 15, the last batch of invites was sent out earlier this month. Players no longer need to wait for an invite to be able to grab a PSVR 2 headset from PlayStation Direct.
Free delivery is available on all PSVR 2 pre-orders, and any orders placed now will be delivered between the device’s release date of February 22, 2024, and February 28. Several other games are also available to pre-order from the Playstation Store, including The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Chapter 2: Retribution and Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge Enhanced Edition.
