Santa Monica Studio has announced the much-requested God of War Ragnarok New Game Plus mode will be coming to the game in 2024. While details on the mode are yet to be revealed, players are hoping for the addition of more armor and equipment, including the fur cloak.
When will the God of War Ragnarok New Game Plus mode be released?
The New Game Plus mode release date window is at some point in Spring 2024.
Santa Monica Studio has said they will “share more details once we get closer to the release” so little else is known about the upcoming mode so far. Players usually get to keep their upgrades, armor, weapons, and other equipment while story progress is reset in a New Game Plus mode, but it’s uncertain whether this will apply to Ragnarok.
God of War Ragnarok’s most recent update earlier this month added Photo Mode as well as fixes for quest progression blockers, players dropping out of the map, and several instances of crashing. Presumably, there will be additional game updates between now and the release of New Game Plus mode in the spring, although a content and update roadmap for the first few months of 2024 has also to be confirmed.
