The first and only print run of The Last of Us Part 1 Firefly Edition sold out extremely quickly within the US, and fans have been calling for the collector’s version to come to other regions like Europe. Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann has now said they’re aware more players would like to own the Firefly Edition and they’ve “passed the message on” about making it more available.
Could The Last of Us Part 1 Firefly Edition come to Europe?
Believe me, we’d love to have additional Firefly Editions offered to our fans! We’ve passed the message along!

The Last of Us Part 1 Firefly Edition included plenty of in-game unlocks like weapon skins, a SteelBook case, and The Last of Us: American Dreams Comics #1-4 with new cover art, content currently not available throughout the rest of the world. This edition sold out in less than 24 hours of its release, but it was only available through Playstation Direct in the US. Players in all other regions were forced to miss out, and there are plenty of players within the US who would also like to get another chance to own a copy of the limited edition.
When asked whether there would be any more Firefly Editions made available, Druckmann said “we’d love to have additional Firefly Editions offered to our fans! We’ve passed the message along!” When another fan followed up with a statement that players would love to see this version in Europe, Druckmann replied: “We hear you about other territories! We’ve passed that message along as well!” These replies are far from a guarantee there will ever be any more copies of the Firefly Edition out in the wild as it seems like the decision does not rest in the hands of Naughty Dog, but hopefully Sony is listening.
In other news, LocoRoco Midnight Carnival has been spotted on the PlayStation Store and is likely to be coming to PS Plus Premium. Resistance 2 has also been teased for the service, this time from developer Insomniac Games themselves.
