Five Playstation Classics Appear on PSN Backend in Time for PS Plus Premium

The new PlayStation Plus tiers are due to roll out shortly and we still have absolutely no idea what games will be included in the library with the exception of a handful of PS4 and PS5 titles. This has seen players desperately searching for any clues and one person seems to have unearthed five PlayStation Classics that have appeared on the PSN backend recently and could be included in PS Plus Premium.

What PlayStation Classics are included in PS Plus Premium?

Sony has not released a list of PlayStation Classic games that will be included in PS Plus Premium, but five have appeared on the PSN backend within the last couple of days. According to Reddit user u/the_andshrew, these games are Tekken 2 (title ID CUSA33751_00), Ridge Racers 2 (title ID CUSA33741_00), Mr. Driller (title ID CUSA33767_00), Worms World Party (title ID CUSA33248_00), and Worms Armageddon (title ID CUSA33246_00). None of the five titles have been announced for release on the PlayStation store and sony has yet to comment.

So far only six PS4/PS5 games have been confirmed for inclusion in the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium tiers. These are Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11, and Returnal. PS Plus Extra will give players access to up to 400 PS4 and PS5 games. PS Plus Premium players can access those PS4 and PS5 games as well as up to 340 PS3, PS2, PlayStation, and PSP games. The remaining 700+ games are yet to be confirmed.

In other news, the Microsoft-Activision acquisition offer was approved by 98% of Activision shareholders today, but the deal still has to face the Federal Trade Commission. Some members of wall Street are expecting the deal to fail at this hurdle. Elsewhere, Supermassive Games’ upcoming horror adventure title The Quarry will offer so many different choices and dialog options that it will create 186 different endings.
